Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a unique opportunity in Santa Monica, California for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the service industry. This role entails handling full cycle Accounts Payables, including managing high volume travel and expense transactions, as well as other assigned tasks. Responsibilities: Carry out high volume, full cycle accounts payable operations efficiently Match, batch, and code invoices accurately Manage high volume travel and expense transactions Match purchase orders to invoices and transactions Utilize software, such as Workday and Salesforce.com, for efficient task completion Apply skills such as 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Cash Applications', 'Expense Reporting', 'Travel Reimbursements', 'Code Invoices', 'Credit', 'Credit - Collections' for optimal job performance Handle other tasks assigned by the manager Maintain a coachable demeanor and take direction effectively Foster a fitting culture within the team and the organization. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures Experience with Cash Applications Knowledge of Expense Reporting procedures Ability to handle Travel Reimbursements Familiarity with Salesforce.com Proficiency with Workday software Experience in Code Invoices Understanding of Credit principles Experience in Credit - Collections Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential information Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Knowledge of general accounting principles High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus. Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is preferred.
