A leader in health and fitness is looking for a Data Quality Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team that works with departments to help drive business decisions and customer experience using Data. This team oversees the system infrastructure and guidelines on how data pipelines are implemented. As a Data Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing data testing frameworks and pipelines using SQL and Python, along with troubleshooting any data problems. The ideal candidate is a Data Engineer who has a strong interest in Quality Assurance and best practices. Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years Engineering experience
- Proficient with SQL and Python
- Experience with cloud based Datawarehouse including Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery
- Hands on AWS experience including EC2, S3, Kinesis etc.
- Strong understanding of QA practices
- Experience using Great Expectations or Jinja
- DTB experience
- 70% SQL
- 30% Python
- 100% AWS
- 80% Testing Data Pipelines
- 20% Building Data Pipelines
- Competitive Pay: Up to $70/hour, DOE
- Contract Duration: 6+ Months with the possibility of extension or conversion
