General contracting company that specializes in prevailing wage government and public works projects in search of EXPERIENCED and responsible laborers. This is a fast-paced result and goal-oriented position. You must have a proactive work ethic and be a team player. Most but not all work is located in Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo County. Occasional work out of town for short periods of time
Experience should include at least 3 years of verifiable references in the construction industry. Inquiries without a resume and/or work history including contact information will not be considered.

General tasks include but are not limited to:
-Loading and unloading materials & tools.
-The ability to safely and respectfully operate a variety of hand/power tools
-Some equipment when needed. (i.e. mini excavator, water trailer, loader)
-Digging and trenching
-Heavy lifting
-Construction site cleanup
-Installing pipe
-Traffic control passing near, in, or around work zones.
-Concrete grading and paving
-Installing DIs
-Bridge Work
-Checking Grade
-Must have your own reliable transportation with current valid Driver’s License
-Clean driving record for insurance purposes
-Be willing to travel without whining about it later
-2 valid forms of ID to prove eligibility to work in the US
-The ability to lift 50lbs and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather for 8 or more hours
-Maintain production and quality standards
-Must have good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Follow all safety rules and report safety incidents immediately to foreman
-Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision
-Supply your own basic tools
