Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Perform various carpentry tasks including concrete forming, tile laying, door hanging, and roof work
- Fabricate and install cabinets, shelving, and other wooden components
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as electricians and plumbers
Qualifications:
- Knowledge in foundation, framing, door installation, casework, molding, paneling, hardware structures and finish carpentry; new construction, large construction and/or remodeling projects
-Proficient in reading plans, layouts, setting up and leading projects Ability to work diligently and to pay attention to details
- Able to do physical work, lift more than 25-50 lbs, and work in safely manner according company guidelines
- Must be proactive, punctual, reliable, and responsible
- Strong leadership and good communication skills
-Must have a good attitude / work ethic and be able to work well with others or alone.
Minimum Requirements include:
-At least 5 years of experience in carpentry work
- Required clean DMV record
- Have reliable transportation, be willing to go to job sites in SB County and SLO County
- Have all necessary tools to perform as a rough and finish carpenter
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience:
Construction: 5 years (Preferred)
Carpentry: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
