We are looking for an energetic, friendly and dependable attendant in our farm stand and mercantile store. The ideal candidate should be able to lift boxes, climb stairs, stand on feet for periods of time and have excellent customer service skills to interact with customers. This is a great opportunity to spend your day on a farm next to farm animals, enjoying all of the seasons. No experience necessary. 5 days per week, 30 hours per week between the hours of 11am-4pm or 5pm. Must be available to work holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
-Checking customers out at the registers
-Stocking displays
-Providing an uplifting and positive experience for each customer that visits
-Receiving produce orders and organizing/displaying
-Daily, weekly and monthly cleaning
Qualifications:
-Must be able to lift roughly 50lbs or less repeatedly
-Must be physically able and enjoy being on your feet
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must have an outgoing positive attitude and be self driven
-Must have a friendly personality with a willingness and desire to help/converse customers
Your environment will be on a vineyard and farm. We are a winery, restaurant, event space, and farm stand located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. You will be expected to work independently, often alone in our retail location.
Compensation: $18/hr plus tips and discounts on food and wine.
