The Document Control Coordinator position is a temporary assignment lasting one month, with hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $18/Hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform clerical documentation duties such as filing, reproduction, typing, and handling document or information requests.

Scan quality records and save on the RVI

Assist other departments in locating records.

Prepare records for storage and retention according to QS retention system.

Maintain the Record Retention Log for all stored documents.

Act as liaison between client and Secure Document and Storage vendor.

Adhere to all company rules and regulations, including safety, security, and department related work instructions.

Understand the necessity of and apply skills for accuracy, completeness, attention to detail, demand of deadlines and demonstration of strong team skills.

Act as backup in preparing documents.

Propose more efficient documentation procedure methods as appropriate.

Provide accurate information in a prompt manner such as retrieval of scanned records from RVI.

Other tasks as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus 1-2 years of related experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ability to type 45 wpm

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to complete forms accurately and write routine notes and documentation.

Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization.

Ability to use basic math skills with money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed.

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
