Project Manager
Cloacina LLC, a pre-packaged wastewater treatment plant manufacturer is currently looking for a Project Manager in Arroyo Grande, CA. (Arroyo Grande is a coastal city located minutes away from Pismo Beach) Typical duties to include the following;
Meet with clients/contractors regarding projects under contract.
Work with marketing/sales to develop accurate project bids/proposals
Specify/Purchase pumps, blowers, valves, fittings, etc. for projects
Work with production shop to meet project specific time frames
Work with design/engineering to develop production sub-assemblies and project specific shop drawings.
Risk Analysis
Creating/maintaining project schedules
Business Partnering
Working with vendors
Quality control
Team leadership
Documentation
Time Estimating
Cost Estimating
Effective communication
Microsoft office Suite
Monitoring and reporting progress
Experience in the wastewater/water treatment industry is an advantage but not required. This is a full time position with benefits. Pay is DOE. Applicant must have a clean DMV record. There may be occasional traveling involved with this position.

The wastewater industry can be hazardous due to exposure to biological and chemical hazards, as well as physical dangers, including but not limited to, confined spaces, slips, falls, wet and/or humid conditions, high and/or low altitude, moving mechanical parts, high and/or precarious places, fumes and/or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, vibration, sewage, epoxy coatings, solvents, and excessive noise levels. Employees may come in contact with wastewater which contains human waste. Wastewater contains various bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can cause diseases in humans and animals. Workers can be exposed through contact with wastewater, aerosols containing pathogens, or contaminated equipment. Wastewater treatment processes also involve the use of various chemicals, some of which can be toxic or corrosive. It is imperative that employees wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols. While not mandatory, it is also highly recommended that employees stay current with vaccinations, including Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, and Diphtheria.
