The paralegal position is located in Santa Maria and is full time temporary or temp to hire. Hours are from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The rate of pay is $20 to 25 an hour based on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare judicial council forms
Prepare, edit and proofread legal documents
File documents with the courts via efile
Prepare discovery requests and responses
Maintain the attorney's calendar
Gather necessary documents for trials and hearings
Interact with clients, outside counsel, county clerks, court staff, and others
Skills & Qualifications
Prior legal experience in family law
A strong work ethic
Good communication skills
High level of organization
Able to follow directions
