Experienced ranch upkeep experience, includes patrol of property. The property has been owned within the family back to 1940's. At this point we would like to return it to nature, put work into restoring the habitat. Oats and barley hay planted annually.
The primary responsibility is to secure the property, make sure there are no unwanted visitors, no encroachment to the property. Ongoing upkeep is the next priority. Hands on experience, and ability to work well with others and neighbors. Coordinate vendor work on the property, keep the property secure during that time. Accomplish assigned tasks, coordinate with additional ranch hand support on the property, monitor vendor work quality and report status to ranch management and owner.
Job entails being onsite 2 to 4 hours per day, 2 to 3 or so times a week. There are other team members. Proactive mentality is a must. A positive warm face to the community a must. Ability to work well with others and a "can do" attitude a must. Please include recent work history.
