We are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Seasonal Base Camp Crew Members. In this role, you will assist in setting up, maintaining, and taking down base camp equipment for emergency response operations.
This is a seasonal position with the possibility of extended work based on project needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities (During Normal Operations)
● Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all equipment.
● Perform general maintenance and repairs as needed.
● Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
● Provide support to other team members and management as needed.
Key Responsibilities (During Base Camp Operations)
● Assist in the setup and teardown of base camp equipment, including tents, shelters, and other mobile equipment.
● Assist in operating, maintaining, and monitoring equipment at varying shifts and hours.
● Ensure the cleanliness and organization of equipment.
● Perform general maintenance and repairs as needed.
● Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
● Provide support to other team members and management as needed.
Requirements
● Must be available and able to report to our headquarters within short-notice to deploy to a base camp at a
moment's notice.
● Must be able to to work extended hours when deployed on a Base Camp operation (sometimes 12-16 hour shifts)
● Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
● Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
● Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
● Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
● Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
