Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist

BrightStar Care of Santa Barbara County is hiring per diem Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapist to work throughout the county.

Responsibilities:

- Regular travel to patient's homes is required

- Assess patients' physical and functional abilities to determine appropriate treatment plans

- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to improve patients' mobility, strength, coordination, and overall function

- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their condition and maximizing their independence

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Experience:

- Minimum of [1] year of experience as a Physical Occupational Therapist in a hospital or acute care setting

- Experience working with patients of all ages and abilities

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Proficient in assessing and treating a wide range of conditions and injuries

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

- Valid CA Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy License

- Minimum of 1yr of experience

- Clean driving and criminal background check
