We have a full-time position available for a PT! Or part-time if flexibility is needed!
Must have current CA Registered Physical Therapist license (or be a current applicant).
We are leading a trend toward a model of care that is warm, inviting, private, peaceful and healing. We are not a gym - no patients splayed out on tables - it’s just not how we roll. We treat in private, cozy treatment rooms with a view of a sunny meadow and out in the bamboo-floored open area that feels like a yoga studio.
This is about a new, cutting edge way of doing PT- moving away from insurance companies and the limits of their requirements, and into something that's more healthy for patients, improves everyone's experience of physical therapy and is more healthy and satisfying for the PT's providing the care!
We treat only ONE patient per hour here.

Skills Needed for Success at Active Physical Therapy:
Be able to communicate with patients in such a way that they can understand why the suggested plan of care is the best solution to solve their problem
Communicate with patients in a way that they can see value in the treatment plan being created for them – in exchange for their time and money
Demonstrates an understanding of what the causes are – and solutions – that could lead to a patient dropping off schedule
To be able to communicate in such a way that the patient can confidently say "yes" to a full treatment plan
To be able to engage with and connect with patients at a personal level that goes beyond a clinical outcome
Demonstrates a willingness to be held accountable for performance
