Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Front Desk Receptionist. As the first point of contact for guests, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.

Reservation Management:

Manage room reservations, including bookings, cancellations, and modifications.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the reservation system.

Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate room assignments and special requests.

Communication:

Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.

Respond to emails and other forms of communication in a timely fashion.

Relay important information to relevant hotel staff and management.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Handle cash and process payments accurately.

Prepare daily reports, including occupancy and revenue summaries.

Problem Resolution:

Address and resolve guest issues and complaints with a proactive and positive approach.

Escalate complex problems to appropriate management personnel when necessary.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams.

Security and Safety:

Monitor and control access to the hotel, ensuring the safety and security of guests and their belongings.

Follow established procedures for handling emergencies and crises.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or a related field is a plus.

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in using hotel management software and basic office software.

Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
