As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, produce budgets and forecasting, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP Requirements - Strong time management skills preferred
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Strong familiarity with cost analysis
Foundational knowledge in account reconciliation
Month end closings experience preferred
Well-founded grasp of compliance
Budgeting experience highly desired
Solid understanding of journal entries
General familiarity with US GAAP
Proven knowledge of Cash Flow Analysis
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Prior work done in public accounting is desired
Excellent oral and written communications skills
High attention to detail
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Skilled with ERP systems
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
