Accountant Position
Job Description:
GEK International, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, mature and honest Accountant for a small family owned company in Santa Maria! This position will go fast!
Assists and works alongside the Owners
Defines Accounting policies and procedures
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounts
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Record income and outflow of money, property and other financial assets
Work with company’s CPA office
Skills and Qualifications:
3-5 years of accounting experience
Strong data entry skills
Accounting background preferred
Accounts Receivables / Accounts Payables
Account Reconciliation
Attention to detail
Analyzing information
Dealing with complexity
SAGE Experience is preferred
Be able to work with minimum supervision and be trustworthy
Position requires six hours a day, M – F, with full benefits
Position requires candidate to speak/write English/Spanish
Salary will be based on experience, qualifications and knowledge
