Seeking an EDI professional with knowledge and hands on experience with Gentran Server. Great opportunity to work with a large manufacturer and growing EDI team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work directly with business partners, customers, suppliers, and 3rd party partners to analyze their data requirements and transaction/message specificationsDevelop, test, and maintain EDI process flows, document maps, configurations, and documentationMapping creation/modification/correctionResolve daily EDI challenges not limited to stuck ASN, wrong ship to, EDI email invoicing issues, importing of new daily files to Epicor and SytelineConduct unit testing and end-to-end testing with customers, suppliers, and other business partnersMonitor inbound/outbound document statuses using GentranMaintaining Gentran server daily activitiesPerform troubleshooting, analysis, problem solving, exception handling, and re-processing as necessary to ensure reliable operations and business efficiencyProvide power user expertise in the development and implementation of EDI integrations and software solutions that meet the business requirements of the organizationWork within a team environment to provide customer coverage and servicesProvide support on special projects and other duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Expertise in implementation of EDI maps using a commercial EDI translator, prior experience with ERP integration/orchestration. Windows server knowledge (2000,2003,2008,2012), Microsoft Office 365 knowledge, SQL programming experience as well as customer service oriented in providing daily support for user community, knowledge of EDI standards formats (ANSI, X12, EDIFACTS, ETC) and translations.
