Dominican also has received several awards for environmental excellence.ResponsibilitiesProvides quality education to hospital staff based on identified learning needs. Demonstrates progressive experience and masters level preparation in nursing in the required specialty area. Scope of practice encompasses use of nursing process in the following major areas: practice education consultation research and administration. This position is accountable for promoting excellence in the clinical nursing practice. The incumbent is a consultant to staff nursing leaders hospital administration physicians patients family and community.QualificationsRequirements:
Five years progressive experience in area of specialty including: needs assessment coordination planning implementation teaching and evaluation.
Two years of nursing education experience.
Experience in management of projects and adult learners to include: curriculum development evaluation of personnel and interpretation and utilization of evidence based practice.
Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office programs (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Master's degree in Nursing required within 3 years of accepting position
License/Registration/Certification:Required:
Current and active CA RN license.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
