The successful candidate will play a vital role in optimizing our accounting workflow, transitioning to cloud-based systems, and providing comprehensive support to our internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities:Bookkeeping/GL Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Perform general ledger entries and monthly closing procedures.

Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis as needed.

Collaborate with the team to enhance accounting processes and efficiencies.

Assist in transitioning existing systems to cloud-based platforms.

Provide support and data to drive decision-making processes.

Payroll Responsibilities

Administer the electronic timekeeping system.

Collect and track employee time records for accurate payroll processing.

Coordinate with departments to ensure accurate employee data.

Maintain employee records and tax filings in compliance with regulations.

Update payroll software promptly to ensure accurate processing.

Develop and update payroll procedures as needed.

Requirements

Required Skills:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Payroll Administration and Accounting.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Proficiency in automated payroll/HRIS systems (experience with One Point preferred, ADP a plus).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.

Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
