Accounting Clerk

Description A company in Santa Clarita is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial department by handling a variety of accounting tasks.Responsibilities:Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.Generate financial reports as needed.Assist with month-end closing procedures.Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.Ensure adherence to accounting principles and best practices.Requirements Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.Proven proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop).Must know Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups).
