You are focused on delivering compliant and impactful solutions for the business.The Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel–Privacy takes a collaborative approach to building cross-functional privacy and security frameworks. You will be a key legal partner to the cross-functional teams, including with teams that build our best-in-class cybersecurity products. Reporting to the VP & Deputy General Counsel, you will manage a world-class team of privacy attorneys.  You’ll work on critical privacy, security, and AIML initiatives with key stakeholders across the company. You are motivated by unique issues and enthusiastic about being the legal partner to our Information Security, IT, HR, Products and Data teams. You are experienced in translating complex legal issues into efficient and practical solutions for the company.You have a “can do” attitude and will manage the Privacy team in order to drive results-focused solutions, with the goal of mitigating legal risks. You will have significant experience advising and actioning on security, privacy, and AI/ML projects, and be engaged in keeping up-to-date with the evolving landscape related to data, privacy and cybersecurity.Your ImpactIn collaboration with legal colleagues and product leaders, conduct AIML and data impact assessments and other security assessments on new products and enhancements to existing productsWork closely with the functional teams to understand their perspectives, processes, applications, projects and technologies to ensure compliance with applicable privacy and data security laws, regulations, and industry best practices while guiding and delivering solutions for the teamsWork with commercial attorneys at global level to facilitate negotiation of privacy and security requirements with customers, partners, and suppliersWork on privacy and security related projects that improves efficiency and mitigates risksSupport all members of the legal team, including Government Affairs and Public Policy, in proactively addressing privacy and related security requirements as they impact or apply to their areas of responsibilitySupport privacy compliance efforts across the company, and with external stakeholders as needed, address privacy audits and facilitate development and implementation of tools, policies, procedures, etc.Partner with the Information Security and Information Technology teams to implement best practices for management and protection of confidential and personal information and to develop appropriate policies and standardsSupport the product teams in applying privacy by design and in developing and launching privacy collateral for customers and partnersProvide legal advice and direction to all stakeholders across the company on matters regarding privacy and data protectionDevelop and deliver training and communications on privacy and security mattersManage outside counsel on privacy mattersHandle special projects as requested
