Your CareerWe are looking for a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer in IoT Security, you play a key role in providing detailed technical information to our partners, customers, and our internal employees. You will work with innovative technology, redefining the future of cybersecurity.In this role, you’ll help our product teams build the product and align it with market demand and also develop and deliver technical training for systems engineers. You are a self-starter, excited to learn and experiment with new technologies. You work well independently and excel at identifying the potential sales needs of our clients and shaping the direction of the company’s products as a result. You aren't afraid of ambiguity - instead, you like the challenge of defining new products as they come to market.Your Impact

Work with sales, marketing, product management, customers, and cross-functional teams to promote and bring innovation to IoT Security

Develop and deliver competitive positioning strategies and answer specific questions relative to the product area

As the subject matter expert, build relationships and help customers, channel partners, and System Engineers with product related questions and hands-on technical training

Support sales processes, POCs, and discussions with prospective customers

Help the sales team achieve the success of customer trials by assisting with understanding and configuring the product to the best use of its capabilities

Work closely with Product Management on product feedback for future improvements

Attend trade shows to educate employees and partners on core product differences and advantages

Product expert for the product features, test what's being built, be the voice-of-customer

Create and maintain an updated understanding of IoT threat landscape and perform customer and market research across the hottest security trends, industry analysis to assess market need, size of the opportunity, and competitive landscape

Out-of-the-Box thinker with creative ideas to continually differentiate against competitors and the market norm

Your Experience

5+ years of IoT/ OT/ IIoT/ IoMT and network security/ network traffic analysis experience, including-

Deep understanding of passive IoT security solutions

Strong wired and wireless network architect skills to understand customer network design and data flow

Experience with different passive network data collection solutions, SPAN/RSPAN/ERSPAN, tap like Gigamon

Hands on experience in networking topologies, IoT/ OT/ IIoT/ IoMT protocols

Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) and/or Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions in diverse environments

Experience with some of the following products/ technologies

Asset Management/ CMMS systems like ServicesNow

Wireless LAN Network Management

Network Management like Cisco Prime Infrastructure

Vulnerability Management systems like Rapid7

IPAM solutions like InfoBlox

SIEM/SOAR products like SPlunk, XSOAR

SNMP

Understanding of SOC workflows & incident response

Experience in preparing compelling RFI/ RFP/ RFQ responses and processes

Demonstrated track record in running successful customer Evals/ PoC

Experience in evaluating and comparing different solutions

Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with strong presentation abilities

Strong customer advocacy skills and experience, ability to work in difficult customer situations

Strong track record of collaboration with engineering, sales, internal stakeholders & partners to develop product requirements

Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, information collection, and attention to detail

BS/MS degree or relevant experience or equivalent military experience required

Bonus points, if experience working with

PAN-OS and Palo Alto Networks solutions

EDR tools

Scripting especially using RESTful APIs

PCAPs, their collection and protocol decoding

VM/ Cloud technologies
