Job Description
Your Career:The Cloud Management Platform is a public cloud delivered management platform to manage all Palo Alto Networks Next generation network security solutions. It’s an easy-to-use, scalable and secure platform to operationalize complex deployments using the Palo Alto Networks network security portfolio.
You will work in a team of highly motivated engineers building a highly scalable and secure multi-tenant public cloud solution to manage network and security configuration and operational data of the customer as well as manage devices in physical, virtual or container form factors. We are looking for passionate engineers that can code and build great products as well as leaders that can own and deliver. Collaboration and teamwork are at the foundation of our culture and we need engineers who can communicate at a high level and work well with others towards achieving a common goal.
Responsibilities:Design, test, develop, deploy, maintain and improve software assets
Deliver high-quality code through hands-on development with attention to detail
Analyze/Research issues and provide solutions to resolve them quickly
Actively participate in developing next-generation full stack solutions while investigating alternative technologies.
Take ownership and collaborate with cross-functional product management, development and quality assurance teams in a fast paced environment.
Work with Devops and Technical Support teams to investigate and resolve critical customer defects.
Qualifications
Must have:2+ years of experience in building enterprise applications required.
Full stack engineer who can learn and adapt to new programming languages and technologies as-needed.
Excellent programming skills in any server side programming language. GoLang, nodeJS is preferable.
Strong fundamentals in object oriented design and development using common design patterns is a must. Experience with or familiarity of Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration is a plus.
Deep understanding of safe coding practices with knowledge of common approaches to avoiding code vulnerabilities (security issues, type-safe code, sql injections, XSS etc.) is a must.
Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL technologies such as Mysql, Redis.
Experience in designing/building scalable REST APIs.
Experience in developing microservice based solutions on public cloud infrastructure is highly desired.
Experience with configuring web server such as Nginx, Apache is a strong plus.
Experience developing in Kubernetes based environments is a plus.
Experience with queueing/pub-sub technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ etc) is highly desired.
Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, Git is a plus.
Familiarity with typescript, express or Hapijs is a plus.
MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
