Do you have a Class B or Class C CDL with passenger endorsement (to drive 15 passenger vans) or better yet, a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and air brakes certification (to drive our wonderful 26 passenger bus)?
Do you have a good, clean and safe driving record?
Do you enjoy being around fun, interesting people and learning new things?
As a driver for SBCC you will be added to the pool of drivers and given the opportunity to safely transport our enthusiastic students for:
The Earth Sciences Department on local field trips to San Marcos Foothills Preserve, Rattlesnake Canyon, Carpinteria Tar Pits and more where you can learn about geology and natural history of the local area, as well as longer 5 and 15 day trips to the Eastern Sierra, Death Valley and Colorado Plateau where you can see amazing National Parks and learn about the history of the planet we live on.
Biology/Botany Department local field trips to learn about those plants and critters that grow and run around on all of that fabulous geology as well as longer trips that explore places like Figueroa Mountain, Lotusland, the Carrizo Plain, and Yosemite National Park.
The Athletics Department sporting events where you can cheer on our Vaqueros.
And various other department outings based on need.
