Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Low Voltage Design & Implementation Engineer to lead the design, bidding, and execution of low voltage projects for our clients. This individual will be responsible for accurate quoting, technical design, project management, and team coordination across multiple job sites. This is a client-facing role that requires a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and engineer comprehensive low voltage systems including structured cabling, access control, and surveillance solutions.

Prepare and present accurate quotes, bids, and project cost breakdowns to clients and internal stakeholders.

Oversee the implementation of projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Manage on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with internal departments (sales, operations, procurement) to align project goals and resources.

Conduct site surveys and develop project documentation including schematics and installation plans.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes, building regulations, and client requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in low voltage system design, estimating, and project management.

Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, access control platforms, surveillance/CCTV solutions, and relevant technologies.

Proven ability to prepare bids and quotes with accuracy and confidence.

Demonstrated success in managing technical teams and subcontractors on-site.

Excellent organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.

Proficiency with relevant tools such as Quoting software, Visio, Autotask, or equivalent design software is preferred.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Central and Southern California.
