Yardi Systems is currently seeking full time, highly motivated Compliance Specialist to join their growing team in Santa Barbara, CA!
Develops and writes policy and standards documentation to mitigate cybersecurity risk and ensure protection of company and client assets and information. Researches and interprets current and pending governmental laws and regulations, industry standards and customer and vendor contracts to communicate compliance requirements. Establishes corporate documentation relevant to SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS and international data privacy laws. Works with business leaders to ensure documentation is reviewed and updated. Assists in responding to written communication from clients regarding compliance and audit items.
Requirements:
Strong writing skills
Understanding of compliance
Audit terminology and processes.
Bachelors degree in technical field preferred with technical writing experience.
Experience writing policies and procedures, preferably compliance related.
