Experienced horseman/woman needed as a Trail Guide for established horseback riding stable in Buellton. Position requires proficiency in western riding, general horsemanship, horse care, stable management and exhibiting excellent customer service and communication skills. Position reports to Stable Manager. Position begins as part-time Guide with responsibility for prepping each ride, grooming, saddling and providing guests with basic riding instruction and directions. Services include pony rides for kids age 2+ and Trail Rides for adults and children. Must be 18 years or older. Must have own transportation, be healthy and in strong physical shape and able to lift and carry 50 pounds.

. Paid hourly rate plus tips (ranging from $20 to $100+ per day)
. Possible full-time position as demand increases
Must provide work experience and references in related position (horse training, showing, ranch riding, dude ranch guide). Must include examples of strong independent work habits.
