Key Responsibilities:
As a Jewelry Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in representing our small business and delivering unparalleled service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Educating customers about our products with enthusiasm and expertise.
- Providing personalized styling suggestions and building lasting relationships with customers.
- Creating a welcoming and comfortable shopping environment.
- Ensuring adherence to merchandising standards and maintaining visual presentation.
- Processing transactions efficiently using Shopify.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Performing daily cleaning tasks and assisting with miscellaneous administrative projects.
- Learning to make the jewelry, previous jewelry/artistic skills a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry or other luxury goods, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and merchandising skills.
- Knowledge of jewelry and gemstones is a plus.
- Experience with cash handling and basic record keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, easygoing attitude.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Dextrous, and able to work with tiny objects.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods (a chair will be provided).
- Required to work weekends and holidays.
- Some college education is preferred.
