The Office Manager is primarily responsible for Firm administration and management of the operational functions of the firm including Human Resources and Administrative Operations. Promoting firm values, shaping a positive culture and ensuring we have a productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives is a vital aspect of this position.
This position works closely with the Managing Partner and partners of the firm for oversight and integration of the operational functions, strategic plan execution and system or procedural enhancements.

Qualifications:
Prior Office Manager, Human Resource and Supervisory experience required
In-depth knowledge of Human Resources and payroll processing including current regulations.
Facilitation and conflict resolution skills to diplomatically handle varied audiences and difficult questions
High level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
Ability to lead others by providing clarity, direction, organization and purpose while creating and maintaining a positive, flexible, energetic work environment that encourages people to develop and succeed.
Above average oral and written communication skills; effectively communicating through formal presentation and writing.
Strong analytical skills with data collection, analysis and reporting ability
A thorough understanding of general accounting functions and familiarity with a variety of accounting concepts, practices and procedures
Exceptional organization and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities change on a regular basis
Strong proficiency with variety of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
Aptitude to learn new software and systems including industry specific software and tools that optimize our productivity.
Prior CPA firm experience a plus
Normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required. Position oversees both Solvang and Santa Barbara offices and will require travel to both C&D offices weekly and as needed.

Salary range: $74,880 - $120,640 per year. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
This position is At Will and employment can be terminated at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, at the option of either C&D or employee.
