Manufacturing Technician
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and validate flight hardware (mechanical and electrical assembly) and Ground Support Equipment.
Assist engineers in manufacturing and testing flight/prototype hardware and developing test infrastructure.
Communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance teams.
Ensure production equipment is maintained and promptly repaired.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to optimize orders and ensure process understanding.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in mechanical and electrical assembly.
Experience with schematic reading and blueprint interpretation.
Skilled in troubleshooting and testing.
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and air tools.
Experience operating electrical and non-electrical manufacturing equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Current Solder, Harnessing/Crimping certification (J or NASA-Standards).
Ability to work from diagrams, drawings, and detailed procedures.
Experience with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coating materials, and other manufacturing chemicals.
