THE APPRENTICE ROLE:
This is an opportunity to learn a trade that can provide a solid income without a college degree. As an Apprentice Overhead Door Installer, you’ll:
Work alongside skilled installers to learn installation, repair, and servicing of overhead doors and operators.
Train in troubleshooting, problem solving, and the “basic engineering” that goes into installing an overhead door, shutter, grille or gate.
Be part of a small, tight-knit team that respects professionalism, honesty, and hard work.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
At least 1 year of experience in the trades: carpentry, electrical, HVAC, general construction or automotive / mechanical background.
Strong mechanical aptitude—you can “see it built” in your head before starting.
Good with measurements, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
Self-starter who works well in pairs or small groups and values a focused work environment.
Physically able to lift 75lbs and work at heights.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to write and read English, bilingual always a plus.
