We are a 100 plus acre start-up farm looking to hire a motivated person to work 28 to 40 hours per week. Normally no weekends. The jobsite is located halfway between Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez. Possible living on site.
Duties include, helping the owner install irrigation lines, general farm maintenance, and building
construction. Physical outdoor work and some lifting of up to 60 pounds is required. This is a ground level opportunity for a motivated person to learn irrigation, surveying, and construction skills working alongside the General Contractor/ Owner. Knowledge of farm equipment and tools considered a plus. Carpentry skills and construction experience also desired.
Other requirements include:
Valid California driver's license
Ability to speak and understand English
Ability to understand detailed verbal instructions
Must be able to legally work in the US

Pay is $21-$28 per hr. DOE.
