BrightStar Care of Santa Barbara County is hiring experienced caregivers to provide a higher quality of one-on-one, in-home care to elderly and disabled adults in the community. If you answer “Yes” to the questions below, we would love to speak with you.

Duties:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Transport clients to appointments, errands and other
- Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary requirements as needed
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate medical professionals - Document tasks and create care notes for each visit
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
Required:
- Previous experience as a caregiver for the elderly or disabled adults
- Must be 18yrs of age or older
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, including reading, writing and speaking
- Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle with ability to drive clients to appointments or outings
- Clean criminal and driving history
