We are located in downtown Santa Barbara and offer psychotherapy and neurotherapy services. We provide neurodiagnostics assessments, neuromodulation/neurofeedback treatment, hyperbaric oxygen treatment, chiropractic care, body treatment, and psychotherapy.
Neurotechnicians assist the doctors by administering neurotherapy treatments to clients and collecting client symptom reports during standard office visits. Neurotechnicians also gather EEG data and prepare it to be analyzed by the doctors. Acting as a representative for the doctors during sessions, Neurotechnicians serve an important role in the care of our clients and ensure client comfort throughout their time in our clinic.
What You’ll Do:
· Administer neuromodulation and neurofeedback to clients with attention to detail, care, and efficiency
· Ensure all patients are reporting positive changes after each treatment session
· Report to Senior Neurotechnician and doctor if patient does not experience a change in symptoms halfway through treatment
· Gather Electroencephalograph (EEG) brain map and Event-Related Potential (ERP) data
· Care, wash, and maintain EEG caps
· Process EEG data and make ready for the doctors’ analysis
· Create client packets containing images of EEG and/or ERP data
· Consistently keep up-to-date client protocol sheets with detailed ratings, reports, and treatment instructions
· Report to the Senior Technician and doctor any new or negative symptom reports, medication changes, or possible adverse reaction to
treatment
· Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy
· Keep the hyperbaric oxygen therapy tank clean, lined, and prepped for the next client after use
· Assist with Office duties such as washing dishes, filing client folders, restocking lobby and bathroom supplies
· Keep the office as a whole clean and orderly including the kitchen, bathrooms, front desk, and lobbies
· Keep the treatment rooms clean, clutter-free, organized, and well-stocked with treatment supplies
· Close down treatment rooms that are no longer in use by end of day

Qualifications:

· Experience preferred but not required
· Education in psychology, biology, or any healthcare field
