We are currently seeking an intake/staffing coordinator to join our team. Candidates must be well experienced, mature, compassionate, responsible, dependable, flexible, and must enjoy working in an office environment.
Qualifications:
- MUST have experience in hiring caregivers
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and communicate well; both verbally and in writing regarding patient/caregiver rights, including privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to function independently, organize, and prioritize while using good decision-making skills
- Detail oriented and efficient
- Must know how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Healthcare experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- The staffing coordinator is responsible for scheduling caregivers to meet patient needs
- Assist in hiring caregivers
- Develop and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure proper coverage for all shifts
- Assist in managing changes of schedule, including shift swaps and leave requests
- Address any scheduling conflict issues that may arise
- Communicate schedule changes to caregivers and families
- Answer incoming calls
- Scan applications of caregivers and other documents as needed
- Maintain office cleanliness
- Fax/print documents if necessary
- Keep accurate and up to date records of staff schedules, attendance, and leave requests
- Do errands if needed
