Full job description
Starting June 14th, we have a need for a CNA full-time with one client, ongoing.
The schedule will entail 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM - flexible, must be available all five days, Monday-Friday.
This case pays a $2.00 per hour incentive.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting client out of bed in the morning and put her down to sleep at night
Assist with feeding liquids and meals, with precaution on aspiration
Assist with bathroom and showering needs
Facilitate with physical exercises as directed by physical therapist
Provide transportation to various locations, primarily UCSB and SBCC classes, as well as physical therapy sessions - driving special van (training available)
Provide companionship and support during outings and at home
Additional tasks based on the Plan of Care
Requirements:
- 1 year previous experience caring for the elderly, developmentally and intellectually impaired
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing
- Active California CNA license
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation
- Must be 18yrs or older
Benefits:
-$2.00 per hour more for these special cases
-$2.00 per hour more for Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Up to 40hrs a year of paid/sick time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
