Job Summary:

The Floor Supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision:

- Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling staff.

- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.

- Foster a positive team environment to enhance staff morale and productivity.

Guest Service:

- Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.

- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.

- Uphold the restaurant's standards for service excellence.

Operational Management:

- Assist in managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.

- Oversee inventory control, including ordering and stock management.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Financial Responsibilities:

- Help manage and control costs.

- Assist in processing payments and maintaining financial records.

- Monitor sales trends and report discrepancies.

Marketing and Promotions:

- Collaborate on marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant.

- Assist in planning and executing special events and promotions.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3 years experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role required.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
