We are seeking a qualified motorcycle driver to join our team! Sidecar Tours is a travel excursion company in the Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez area, specializing in unique entertainment experiences. We operate 9 locations nationwide and we partner with the best local wineries, breweries, and restaurants for every special occasion!
General information:
This is a PART-TIME independent contractor position with the amount of hours/shifts depending heavily on the amount of bookings placed by customers as well as the seasonal weather conditions. Therefore, no set schedule can be guaranteed. This is a fun, part-time side gig for bike enthusiasts who want to earn some extra money, meet new people, and do what they love!
Responsibilities:
Tour drivers are responsible for leading the guests on an adventure through an itinerary of wineries and breweries while providing an unforgettable experience. You’ll act as a private chauffeur while engaging your guests needs to make their occasion extra special!
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have past experience driving/operating motorcycles and or three-wheeled vehicles and will also possess an extensive background in customer service or hospitality.
We look for bubbly, outgoing personalities who aren’t afraid to tell stories, make jokes, and engage in meaningful small talk. Maintaining a professional character while entertaining the guests and leading the tour are very important pieces of this role.
Knowledge of wine, beer, local landmarks, and city tourist attractions are also a huge plus as we strive to provide the ultimate experience for our guests.
The incumbent must have reliable WiFi access, a smartphone, and the ability to download and use multiple mobile apps.
