In-Home Cook (Part-Time) — Prepare Homemade Meals with Hummingbird
Do you believe a good meal can bring people together? At Hummingbird, we help families slow down and share more home-cooked meals. We’re looking for thoughtful, passionate cooks to join our small, growing team and cook simple meals for local families.
We're Hiring! Since March of this year, we’ve grown from a team of 2 to 8—and we’re just getting started. As we continue to grow quickly, we’re actively looking to add several new team members to join us.
We’re looking for caring, reliable home cooks (no formal training required) to shop, prep, and cook family-friendly meals in clients’ homes. If you love food, are organized, and enjoy creating a calm and welcoming kitchen, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
-Grocery shop (we provide the list)
-Cook meals in the client’s home (we provide recipes + plan)
-Label & store meals, tidy the fridge & pantry
-Leave the kitchen sparkling clean
-Build warm, professional relationships with families
What We Look For:
-Passion for cooking (professional or at-home experience welcome)
-Organized, friendly, communicative, and respectful
-Reliable transportation & weekday availability (Monday and/or Tuesday, 8am–3pm or partial day)
-Available to start ASAP or in the future (We are always accepting new families and need all the help we can get! If your availability opens up at a later date this year, we'd still love to hear from you and plan against your schedule!)
