The Food Runner plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring that food orders are delivered promptly, accurately, and with attention to presentation. This position works closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other front-of-house team members to maintain efficient service and high guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables quickly and accurately
Ensure each dish is presented according to restaurant standards before delivery
Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed
Communicate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure orders are complete and accurate
Respond promptly to guest needs and special requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen pass-through and service areas
Uphold health and safety standards, including proper food handling procedures
Support the front-of-house team during peak hours to ensure smooth service flow
