The cook – Prep cook is responsible for providing Bree’Osh guests excellent food quality, consistency, with professional service. Responsibilities include managing the culinary functions to meet the food quality goals.
Full time. Shift is from 6am to 2:30pm. Need to be available FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS and MONDAYS.
Your day-to-day:
Creates and maintains a sound working relationship with all the personnel,
Prepare, maintain and monitor quality control for food items including, but not limited to, eggs, meat, sauces and seasonings,
Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner,
Reports to the Chef any maintenance or repairs needed.,
Know and complies consistently with our standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures,
Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing,
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations,
Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period,
Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, toaster, grills, induction, convection oven, salad bar and refrigeration equipment.
