Assists in the management and integration of the activities and resources of the department locations. Identifies implements and executes process improvement initiatives in line with dashboard targets. Monitors, communicates and implements action plans as needed, based on results of employee, clinician and patient satisfaction surveys. Consistently and effectively implements and monitors policies, workflows, competency and training. Provides direct patient care per their license and scope of practice. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
RN-Registered Nurse of California
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrate basic nursing skills.
Demonstrate effective English verbal and written communication skills.
Self directed in coordinating the care plan for patient care delivery.
Completion of SMF orientation: Basic Skills Assessment, Epic and IDX course work and competency assessment.
Demonstrate knowledge of community resources, legal policies relating to patient decisions and outcomes.
Demonstrate skills in delegation, leadership and team management concepts.
Demonstrate knowledge of the performance standards of other team members.
Completion of department specific orientation.
Computer skills, including Epic, Intelliden and IDX.
