Description Robert Half is searching for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a company located in Santa Barbara as an Entry-Level Staff Accountant. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced professionals.Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Prepare journal entries
Create and maintain spreadsheets for financial data analysis
Support with other accounting tasks as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Ability to learn and adapt to new accounting software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with accounting software
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
