About Us:
We are a diverse, Montecito based architectural design firm with custom home projects around the nation, and are seeking a Licensed Architect or Designer with a minimum of 10 years of experience specializing in single-family custom home design and the development of construction documents.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Licensed Architect or highly experienced Designer.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in custom single-family residential design and construction document preparation.
- Software Proficiency:
Required: AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat
Proficiency in Photoshop & SketchUp are a plus
- Other Requirements:
Self-manageable with the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage consultant relationships effectively.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop preliminary design concepts and construction documents.
Manage and coordinate with project consultants.
Organize and prepare drawings and applications for permitting.
Respond to Construction RFI’s and document construction progress.
