THE UPS STORE -Full & Part Time

Full Time (35-40 hours/week) We offer Notary services which requires passing a background check as well as testing/licensing. We pay for the testing/licensing process, but you must be able to pass the associated background checks. This will be required for full time employees.

Part Time(20-30 hours/week) Afternoons

Job Description

We are looking for retail/sales experience, and we especially like some familiarity with

Microsoft Office products. You should be comfortable working with computers in general.

The applicant must be great at customer service and already know their way around operating a retail store. Being on time and professional is of utmost importance. We offer detailed training, but we also need self-starters who will continue to learn and grow their own skills even after that initial training period.

Things can get fast-paced, and there is always something to do. We switch tasks throughout the day, collecting Amazon returns, to packaging items before our pickup, to helping customers with questions, and of course cleaning and stocking throughout. Naturally, ability to multitask is a great asset.

Compensation and Benefits

$20-25 per hour DOE

5 days paid vacation after 1 year, 5 days personal time

Requirements:

Previous Two-Year Customer Service Position.

Must be able to spell and type correctly

Able to work flexible hours which will include some Saturdays

Speak fluent English (bi-lingual in Spanish a plus)

Previous UPS Store experience is highly preferred.

Must be dependable, punctual, on time, and have great customer service skills.

Must be proficient with computer & internet skills

Must know how to use copier, scanner, fax machine, computer, etc and be open to perform other tasks as assigned

Must maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math

Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

Be able to engage customers in conversation to explain our services, the shipping procedures and rules.

Complete all aspects of opening and closing the store in accordance with company procedures including stocking and store cleanup.
