Santa Barbara Yoga Center is a mindful and community based business operated in alignment with the tenets of yoga philosophy. We are passionate about providing consistently excellent teaching, accessible classes, and a Yoga Home that welcomes all: body, mind and spirit. Currently, we are looking for front desk staff to bring organization and positive energy to our space, and serve our beautiful yoga community.
About the Position:
We are hiring for a part time position:
Morning shift: Monday to Thursday 8:30 - 1:30, Friday 8:30 - 1
Duties include, but are not limited to-
Greeting/welcoming students to the center and checking them in to classes
Processing payments and selling retail items
Maintaining the energetic-and human!- flow of the lobby and studio space
General receptionist style work
Light office organizational tasks
Light cleaning tasks
Who we’re hiring:
We’re looking for someone to bring a smile and positive energy to the desk, to create a welcoming and warm atmosphere to our studio. You must be comfortable on the computer, and comfortable interacting with people. You must be service oriented, and detail oriented. We’re looking for a committed and conscientious person to become an integral part of our team.
