Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, self-driven Entry-Level P&C Insurance Broker to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate eager to start a career in insurance and sales. As an Insurance Producer, you will focus on building relationships and selling insurance products tailored specifically to the niches you choose. You will develop a deep understanding of our clients’ needs, propose solutions, negotiate with underwriters, and grow a book of business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients.

Conduct proactive outreach, including cold calling and face-to-face meetings, often involving outdoor and travel-based sales activities.

Manage accounts and collaborate with the account management team to ensure timely renewals and excellent client service.

Propose, negotiate, and finalize insurance coverage terms with underwriters.

Build and grow a book of business through effective sales and relationship management.

Organize and manage your schedule and client portfolio efficiently.

Collaborate with internal teams across our three offices to provide comprehensive client solutions.

Participate fully in the comprehensive training program across our Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, and Honolulu offices, with the majority of training in the Santa Barbara office.

Qualifications

Recent college graduate with a strong interest in insurance & sales.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with cold calling and building rapport quickly.

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and business development.

Willingness to travel and engage in outdoor sales activities.

Ability to collaborate well within a team environment and manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Training Program

Our structured training program will provide you with a well-rounded understanding of property & casualty insurance brokerage operations:

Initial onboarding and sales training in Santa Barbara, CA.

Ongoing mentorship and development focused on underwriting negotiations, account management, and business growth strategies.

Preparation for growing a property & casualty book of business across your chosen niches.
