Casa Dorinda seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to management. The Senior Accountant will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
EDUCATION: We require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business administration, or equivalent business experience, knowledge of accounting, GAAP and payroll, knowledge of personnel practices and theories and applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, along with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
EXPERIENCE: We require five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional accounting and finance experience preferably inclusive of non-profit accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
SKILLS: Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently and possess a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to produce complex documents and spreadsheets
