As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day
- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
- Take part in various department-wide initiatives
- An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
- Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Qualifications:
- Put together monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
- Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
- Current and relevant ERP system experience
- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
- Self-starter and strong ethical standards
- Solid understanding of month end closings
- Month end closings experience required
- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
- Strong time management and organizational skills

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
- Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
