Responsibilities
- Send notice of money owed to insurance companies and patients
- Band together with other effective units to uphold quality of data and consistency
- Supervise aspects of particular patient accounts, including billing and reimbursement
- Conduct billing audits and submit billing to proper account.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent data entry skills
- Medical billing experience
- Expertise in Basic Medical Terminology
- Previous experience working with an electronic medical system required
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prefer 2 years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle
- Deep knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
