TOGETHER WE WIN®THE OPPORTUNITYThe VP, TM Banker is primarily accountable for enhancing the sales efforts of Bankers for prospective clients in a specified region or business vertical, while also supporting existing client needs. The VP TM Banker will have the ability to cross-sell all deposit and non-interest income products offered by Pacific Western Bank and know when to call upon their TM support experts for additional help. This role requires an experienced relationship builder who can serve as a trusted advisor in cash management strategies. . Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Work with the banking teams on the development and execution of a strategic plan for the assigned market, which aligns with the Bank’s deposit and non-interest income goals.

Monitor and manage existing portfolio and support business development efforts in assigned verticals or markets.

Proactively analyze the business needs of customers to educate and advise them on their current and future needs pertaining to the minimization of the cash conversion cycle and optimization of their working capital.

Demonstrate and develop leadership, both professional and technical, across the organization and with cross functional business partners.

Strong working knowledge of new products and industry trends in Treasury Management.

Thoughtfully review customer needs, perform cost benefit and risk analysis to recommend effective strategies and negotiate pricing to optimize profitability of treasury solutions.

Advise and position the full suite of domestic and global treasury management solutions including investments, ACH, lockbox, credit cards, FX and international solutions.

Review client portfolios to resolve gaps in cash management structures or opportunities to expand existing relationships.

Provide thought leadership to clients and colleagues for product features, enhancements and global treasury industry trends.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

7+ years’ relevant banking and/or financial services experience is required

3+ years of experience in treasury management products and sales is required

Industry expertise working with the innovation economy, specifically technology, life science and venture capital funds is preferred

Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required

Preferred: Certified Treasury Professional certification is preferred

Strong aptitude for payment and data channels (e.g. online banking, API, FTP, SWIFT)

Strong history of developing and cultivating relationships with clients of all sizes

Creative and strategic thinker with excellent problem solving and organizational skills

Ability to exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude under pressure

Ability to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment

Superior oral and written communication skills

Ability to handle multiple priorities, projects and relationships simultaneously

Proven success in managing client accounts

Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
